Jansrud wins downhill in South Korea

Kjetil Jansrud claimed his first downhill win of the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup with victory in Jeongseon on Saturday.

The Norwegian's time of one minute, 41.38 seconds saw him finish 0.2 seconds clear of Italian Dominik Paris.

American Steven Nyman (+0.41secs) was third ahead of Peter Fill (+0.47secs) in ideal conditions in South Korea.

For Jansrud, it marked his third win of the World Cup season but first in the downhill in an event that acted as a test race ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
