Nuggets end Raptors streak, Cavs edge Pacers


Nikola Jokic starred as the Denver Nuggets ended the Toronto Raptors' 11-game NBA winning streak with a 112-93 victory on Monday.

The Nuggets rookie scored a season-high 27 points and had 14 rebounds as Denver picked up just their second win in their past five outings. 

Will Barton had 20 points for the Nuggets and Randy Foye contributed with 16.

DeMar DeRozan top-scored for the Raptors with 24 points. 

Kyrie Irving scored six of his 25 points in overtime as the Cleveland Cavaliers edged the Indiana Pacers 111-106.

Despite hurting his shoulder in the third quarter, LeBron James finished with 24 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. 

It was the Cavs' first win in Indiana since January 2010.

Russell Westbrook had a triple-double as the Oklahoma City Thunder sealed a 114-98 victory over the Washington Wizards. 

The 27-year-old finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists to secure the 26th triple-double of his career.

Kevin Durant scored 28 points, with Serge Ibaka adding 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Thunder won for the 11th time in their past 12.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored a season-high 28 points as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Orlando Magic 107-92. 

In other results, the Detroit Pistons edged the Brooklyn Nets 105-100, the Atlanta Hawks beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-97, the Memphis Grizzlies picked up a 110-95 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, the Utah Jazz needed overtime to down the Chicago Bulls 105-96, while the Sacramento Kings accounted for the Milwaukee Bucks 111-104.
