Payne to make Ulster return

Jared Payne will make his Ulster comeback in Saturday's European Rugby Champions Cup crunch clash against Pool 1 leaders Saracens.

The 30-year-old has not played this season due to fractured foot sustained in Ireland's Rugby World Cup victory over France in October.

Payne has now been passed fit to return just three weeks before Ireland start their Six Nations title defence against Wales at the Aviva Stadium.

New-Zealand-born Payne will start at full-back against the Premiership leaders as Ulster strive to progress to the knock-out stages.
