Kuban edge out Anadolu, Brose hammer Zalgiris

Lokomotiv Kuban came from behind to earn a slender 78-77 victory over Anadolu Efes in Group E and remain unbeaten in the Top 16.

The Turkish side led by 12 in the second quarter but Lokomotiv closed the gap to nine-points in the final period.

Malcolm Delaney shone under pressure and scored 12 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter to put the Russian side within reach before Ryan Broekhoff sunk a game-winning three-pointer with 22 seconds left on the clock.

Brose Baskets recovered from defeat to Real Madrid in their Group F opener by crushing Zalgiris 96-63.

The German side began in explosive fashion and lead by 20 points at the interval, but Zalgiris responded positively and outscored their opponents in the third quarter.

However, Brose responded with a strong final period to end the game with six players scoring in double-figures - Janis Strelnieks leading the way on 19 points.

Luigi Datome starred as Fenerbahce Ulker cruised to an 88-65 win at Group E rivals Crvena Zvezda Telekom.

The former Boston Celtics small forward tallied 21 points and won five rebounds to comfortably see the Turkish side to a second straight victory in the Top 16.

Quincy Miller matched Datome's points total but was the only player from the Serbian team to make it into double figures as they remain winless since the end of the regular season.

Unicaja were unable to follow up their opening win over Darussafaka as they fell to a 68-66 loss to Panathinaikos.

Jamar Smith was the stand-out performer for the Spaniards with 22 points helping them take a fourth-quarter lead.

However, Panathinaikos captain Dimitris Diamantidis's excellent display included 17 points and seven assists and helped see out a narrow victory.
