Sale Sharks boss Steve Diamond says Danny Cipriani should be in contention for Eddie Jones' first England squad thanks to his club form.
The fly-half missed out on England's Rugby World Cup squad earlier this year, despite playing in their two warm-up matches against France prior to the tournament.
Despite his clear talent, Cipriani has only collected 14 international caps in his career to date but Diamond believes the 28-year-old is ready to add to that tally in the Six Nations.
Cipriani has made eight appearances for Sale this season - scoring 75 points - and was their sole points scorer in Saturday's 15-9 win over Wasps.
"He's playing really well, he's pushing himself into that England radar for the Six Nations squad," Diamond told Sale's official website.
"You have to learn how to develop as a player, and Danny's done that being here and that's why he wants to stay around.
"He's a leader of running the game for us. He's got the full complement of skills, it's so rare these days but so valuable."
