There was a shock in the OEC Taipei WTA Challenger final after fourth seed Timea Babos accounted for top-ranked favourite Misaki Doi in straight sets on Sunday.
Babos, 22, won her first title of the year courtesy of a 7-5 6-3 victory at the WTA 125K series event in Taipei.
The Hungarian world number 84 stunned 2013 Wimbledon semi-finalist Kirsten Flipkens in the final four on Saturday.
And Babos backed that performance up 24 hours later, firing down 15 aces to Doi's four in an hour, 17 minutes on the indoor carpet courts.
Babos broke in each of the two sets and saved five of her own as she stopped Doi, who claimed her maiden WTA title at the Luxembourg Open four weeks ago.
