Montpellier recovered from their heavy defeat to Harlequins in the European Rugby Challenge Cup by hammering Calvisano 64-0 at the Altrad Stadium.
Jake White's side racked up five tries in the first half to storm into a 33-0 lead, with Benoit Paillaugue going over once and totalling 13 points.
The onslaught continued unanswered after the restart with Ben Mowen and Anthony Tuitavake adding two further tries before Agustin Cavalieri was shown a yellow card in the 59th minute.
