Caroline Garcia claimed her first title of the year by defeating Louisa Chirico in the final of Limoges Championship.
The third seed overcame the American - ranked 85 places below Garcia in 120th - at the WTA 125k series event in her home nation of France with a 6-1 6-3 victory.
Garcia suffered defeat to Timea Bacsinszky in the final at tournaments in Acapulco and Monterrey this year, but finally prevailed in Limoges.
Teenager Chirico could only save one of four break points during the first set as the home hope raced to the first set.
Garcia then won 80 per cent of points on her first serve to take a commanding lead in the second set.
Chirico fought back late on, but errors proved her downfall as one break from her 22-year-old opponent proved enough for her to take the crown.
