Theresa May has revealed her secret weapon when she goes shopping - her husband Philip.
In a wide-ranging interview with The Sunday Times the Prime Minister detailed how she is adapting to the public spotlight that comes with calling 10 Downing Street home.
May, well known for her interest in fashion, told the newspaper she plans her outfit a day in advance and shops "where they know me" while choosing not to buy online because of concerns about sizing.
The interview also revealed May is a decisive shopper who helps May decide what to buy.
The PM said: "He's good at accessories too, particularly good at choosing handbags and bracelets for presents, and good at flowers."
On the issue of the almost celebrity-like demands of being PM, May said: "It's important when you're in a position like this not to get too carried away with that side of it."
She continued: "I did do my first wedding video the other day.
"I came out of a shop onto the street and there was a smart young man and he said, 'my friends are getting married today, will you do a wedding video for them?' It was sort of like a selfie, but I had to say, 'hello James and Sarah, happy wedding day!'"
