Missing schoolboy Arthur Heeler-Frood has been found after his parents' emotional appeal on ITV

Updated:

You might recognise the name of Arthur Heeler-Frood: his parents appeared on ITV's This Morning last week with an appeal for their son to be found, who had been missing since September 6.

Now, Arthur has been found in Honiton, Devon - just 10 miles away from his home in Axminster.

Arthur was last seen by his parents, Caroline and Jeremy, leaving the family home on the morning of September 6. Police launched an appeal for Arthur and also received assistance from Facebook and charity Missing People.

The teenager's parents read out on the show a letter that Arthur had left behind, saying that he would return in a year and asking that his parents not try to find him. He wrote: "I have run away because I am bored of my life. Please don't try to find me or make me come home."

Devon and Cornwall Police gave few details other than stating that the search for the 15-year-old was over.
