The Queen held a Buckingham Palace banquet held in honour of Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, the winner of this year's Nobel Peace Prize - and it was as gloriously extravagant as you'd expect it to be.
There was a ceremonial welcome awaiting the arrival of Santos and his wife Maria Clemencia Rodriguez de Santos.
The Queen and Santos then set off together in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach - with the Duke of Edinburgh and Maria Clemencia Rodriguez de Santos in another carriage - in a procession along the Mall which was dressed with alternating UK and Colombian flags.
And if you thought that entrance was grand enough, wait 'til you see how things stepped up another level when they all went inside.
There they spent the evening dining on pot-roasted Windsor estate pheasant along with 170 guests, while the Countess of Wessex's String Orchestra provided the musical entertainment.
