All the adverts in this tube station have been replaced with pictures of cats and it's beautiful

Updated:

This is not a drill.

Over 60 adverts in Clapham Common tube station have been replaced with photos of cats.

Yes, you read that correctly. Cats.

The idea is to break away from all the commercial advertising that sometimes swamps the City and to create a peaceful happy place instead - so, of course, cats perfectly fit the bill.

That, and the takeover is part of the Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (also known as Cats).

The moggies are a mixture of Battersea Dogs & Cats home and Cats Protection residents, as well as pets sent in by members of the public.
