People have been taking part in a "die-in" in London to mark World Hepatitis Day.

The group - including activists, patients and supporters - gathered at Piccadilly Circus to stage the eye-catching protest.

They lay on the floor in a "die-in" to send a message to world leaders that something needs to be done about the 1.4 million hepatitis deaths that happen every year.

The protest also marked the start of the launch of "No hep", a global campaign aimed at eliminating viral hepatitis by 2030.
