Hundreds of people have been evacuated due to a gas leak in the City of London.
Emergency services were called to London Wall in the business district of the capital at 4pm on Tuesday.

London Fire Brigade said they were called to reports of a gas leak from a cellar of a coffee shop and are standing by in case they are needed while engineers work to rectify the problem.
A 25 metre (82 foot) cordon is in place and City of London Police said approximately 500 people have been evacuated.
People are advised to avoid the area with delays to be expected.

TFL Traffic News tweeted that London Wall is shut eastbound at Wood Street and westbound at Blomfield Street, adding that the closures are expected to be lifted within a couple of hours.
