Killer of Kayleigh, 15, found guilty of holding her prisoner before her death

The killer of teenage schoolgirl Kayleigh Haywood has been found guilty of holding her prisoner in the hours before her murder.

Stephen Beadman had denied falsely imprisoning 15-year-old Kayleigh at a house in Ibstock, Leicestershire, during a six-hour period before she was raped and killed on farmland last November.

A jury at Nottingham Crown Court is still considering a charge of false imprisonment against Beadman's neighbour, Luke Harlow, who claims he was asleep when Kayleigh left his home.
