The turnout in Gibraltar was 84%.

The British territory, which is an hour ahead of the UK and relatively small, was the first to announce the number of people who voted in the EU referendum - 20,174.

The turnout at the last general election in Gibraltar was just over 70%.

The government of the territory is strongly in favour of the UK remaining in the EU.
