The most unlikely star of the referendum has emerged: Keith's mum.
The 93-year-old broke the internet when her son claimed she shouted "which box for out?" in a polling booth.
Keith Adams said on Twitter that other voters cheered.

The tweet went viral, with #KeithsMum quickly trending on Twitter.
Twitter users had a whale of a time making fun of Keith's anecdote.
In polling station a 93-year old woman yelled "I'm very unlikely to live to see the consequences of my vote." Everyone cheered. #keithsmum

Some twitter users accused Keith of lying, saying that blind voters used Braille to vote.
But Keith said not all those who were registered blind had that option.
