Orlando shooting: LGBT people show their solidarity with powerful messages on Twitter


Thousands of people are uniting online to show support to the LGBT community in the wake of a mass shooting at a gay club in Florida.

In one of the worst shootings in recent US history, 50 people were killed and 53 injured when gunman Omar Mateen opened fire at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

Following an outpouring of grief, many have taken to Twitter to show their solidarity following the tragic shooting, using the hashtag #GaysBreakTheInternet.
