London riots documentary The Hard Stop now has a trailer and release date

When Mark Duggan was shot and killed by police in 2011, riots erupted first in Tottenham, Mark's home, after peaceful calls for answers went ignored - and then across the country.

This summer will mark the fifth anniversary of the riots and sees the release of George Amponsah's documentary The Hard Stop, which follows two of Mark's friends as they process his murder and inquest and all the anger that came with both.

The film made its debut at the 2015 London Film Festival, and will be released on July 15 this year - with an exclusive screening taking place before that on June 17 by the New Black Film Collective in Stratford.
