Towie star Jake Hall thanks fans for support after Marbella 'stabbing'

The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall, who was reportedly stabbed in a Spanish nightclub, has thanked fans for their support from his hospital bed.

The 24-year-old posted a message to his followers on Twitter in which he is pictured sitting up in bed and connected to various machines.

He tweeted: "Thank you so much for everyone's amazing support and getting me through this. I'm getting better thank (sic) to everyone."

The star of ITVBe's reality soap added: "Can't get rid of me that easily."

The Daily Star reported that Hall was attacked during a night out with friends at the Aqwa Mist club in Marbella's Puerto Banus.

He was brought to hospital by friends in the early hours of Monday morning.

A spokeswoman confirmed he was in hospital, but did not give any further details on why he was admitted.

She said: "We can confirm that Jake is currently receiving hospital treatment.

"He is stable and hoping for a speedy recovery, but has requested privacy at this time."

Hall, who joined The Only Way Is Essex in 2015, was formerly a professional football player for Boston United.
