Ryanair extends its seat sale so expats will fly home to vote Remain

Ryanair has extended a seat sale so British expats will be encouraged to fly home to vote for the UK to remain in the EU.

The budget airline's "Fly Home to Vote Remain" tickets will be available for an extra 24 hours until midnight on Friday.

Ryanair customers can bag flights to all UK airports on June 22 and June 23 - polling day - from EUR19.99 (£15.40).

The Dublin-based no-frills carrier has warned that a Brexit vote would force up the price of flights and reduce inward investment to the UK.

Kenny Jacobs, the airline's chief marketing officer, said it launched the seat sale "to allow UK citizens to fly home to vote Remain".
