Have Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly finally called a truce after that infamous 'bimbo' retweet?

After months of feuding online, Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly finally sat down on national television and appeared to reach a truce.

In an interview with the Fox news anchor, Trump also admitted to regrets over his behaviour.

Their fight began last August when Kelly lobbed several tough questions at the US Republican presidential hopeful, including one about how he has publicly talked about women.

Trump escalated the feud over Twitter for months - with the business tycoon retweeting a follower who called Kelly a "bimbo".
