It seems as though there wasn't a marketing department in the country that wasn't prepared for the Queen's 90th birthday.
The monarch's special day was always going to be an unmissable chance for a lot of companies to promote their brand and it's fair to say some did well and some...errr...not so well.
Other supermarkets are available and it seems they all wanted to let us know they existed.
Supermarkets were pretty much the most prolific well-wishers and perhaps surprisingly it was Iceland who set the bar high when they tweeted this on Wednesday.
There were some pretty safe attempts from Tesco and Marks and Spencer.
Aldi got a pensioner to toast Her Majesty.
Most companies decided, probably correctly, that a touch of class was probably the best bet.
But where's the fun in that?
Kudos to the Burger King on Tottenham Court Road for distinguishing itself.
We also like this unlikely tribute.
It was good to know these guys still existed.
And who knew Manchester United's Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger was BFFs with the Queen.
Okay, he's not really a company. Across town Manchester City posted a picture of the Queen resplendent in Sky Blue, and Reading did what you'd expect a team nicknamed the Royals might do.
Back on the puns, it was clear that corgi-based gags were not a winner.
Or pretending to ring the Queen. Toronto radio station Kiss 92.5 revisited an already tired *gag* with a pretty abject attempt.
A far better effort from 4Music.
As the day went on the tributes kept flowing.
It seems everyone loves being associated with the Queen. Happy birthday!
