Man held after two people found dead at Canterbury home


Two people have been found dead after an altercation at a home in Kent, police said.

A further two people are receiving treatment for injuries in hospital and a man has been taken into custody after police were called to a residential property on Dickens Avenue, Canterbury at 7.39pm on Tuesday.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating how the victims died and are searching the scene.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said they believe the victims and the man arrested at the scene were known to each other.

Police are yet to identify the dead people and are in the process of informing the next of kin.
