Sam's labour of love captured for new reality show

Sam Faiers will be shown on camera in labour for her ITVBe television programme, the broadcaster has announced.

Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries is a one-off show scheduled for February featuring the new mother, best known for The Only Way Is Essex (Towie).

After a 15-month whirlwind romance, Faiers and her partner Paul Knightly became parents to a baby son at the end of last year.

In ITVBe's tell-all reality show, viewers will see intimate home video footage captured while 25-year-old Faiers was in labour.

They will also witness the scenes as the couple bring their baby son home for the first time and cope with the initial stages of parenthood.

The 90-minute programme follows the highs and lows of family life in the spotlight: from baby scans and birthing classes to the swanky baby shower thrown for the then prospective mum.

Faiers will be shown coping with her newborn and dealing with breastfeeding and lack of sleep.

Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries will also include close-knit family and celebrity friends, preparing and celebrating the new arrival.
