Reality TV's Kim Kardashian gives birth to boy

Kim Kardashian has given birth to a baby boy.

The news was announced on the reality television star's website, with a short note that said: "Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. Mother and son are doing well."

The couple are already parents to daughter North who was born in June 2013.

Kardashian, 35, tweeted a link to the announcement and posted a photo of what appears to be her hand being held by her husband's hand.

Twelve hours before she told the world about the birth she posted a photo of her bare bump, writing: "Ready whenever you are lol."

The star has shown off her bump in an array of fitted outfits throughout her pregnancy.

On November 30 she tweeted: "I'm convinced pregnancy just isn't my thing lol."
