Oscar Pistorius' home to be turned into a 'party house'

New tenants boast 'Oscar built this house to entertain'

Oscar Pistorius Home Turned Into Party House
Oscar Pistorius' former home is to be turned into a 'party house'.

The new tenants of the house where the athlete shot dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp have given a video tour around the property, boasting they plan to transform it into a wild party destination.

Business partners David Scott, 33, and Kagiso Mokoape, 23, carried cans of alcohol as they bragged about how "hot girls can invite themselves to the luxury home, which will have a specially decorated bathroom "in honour" of the tragic shooting.

Mr Scott says: "This is definitely an entertainer's house. Oscar built this house to entertain."

The home's new tenants later show the bathroom where Pistorius shot the former model through a locked toilet door on Valentine's Day in 2013.

Mr Scott said: "We're going to decorate the house in honour of what happened here. And then we will invite people over."

Mr Mokoape says: "We really enjoy life and entertainment, but work comes first, obviously. But every weekend, it's going to go down here."

The house was sold last year to a mining company in order to pay for Pistorius' mounting legal costs.

Tenants issue apology

Mr Scott initially reacted to the widespread interest in the tour video with a post on Facebook that read: "I am dying of laughter, this is a bit out of proportion, well, u know what they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity! He he."

However, the two men have since been forced to backtrack and apologise after the video prompted a wave of international backlash. Mr Scott said the video sent the "totally wrong message".

Pistorius family spokeswoman Anneliese Burgess described the footage as "bizarre", reports the Express.

The athlete has served a year of a maximum five year prison sentence for the manslaughter of Ms Steenkamp.
