Sweet! Desserts firm whips up something extra for amorous customer

A dessert delivery company came to the rescue when an amorous customer made a cheeky request.

Newcastle-based Desserts Delivered was only too happy to oblige when a client emailed in an order with the added comment: "I'm having a threesome with these 2 birds so if you can hoy (throw) in some whipped cream for nout Id be much obliged."

Director Tony Dhawan said staff started laughing when the order came through on Wednesday.

"Just because we found it funny, we put a couple of whipped creams in for free," he said.

"The guy messaged us back thanking us for the whipped cream when we'd delivered it."

Mr Dhawan said the order was sent to a customer in the Cowgate or Fenham area of Newcastle and, unlike many of his client base, he was not a student.

"I think it was just someone having a laugh, but you never know."

The director, who has been running the business for almost three years, said: "We get loads of comments like that.

"One said 'Can you hurry up because my girlfriend is not giving me any action because she wants cake first'."

Desserts Delivered offers cakes, sweets, brownies, ice creams and other treats and operates in the evenings.
