Liam Gallagher and ex-wife Nicole Appleton court tussle to continue

Updated

A judge is tomorrow due to continue hearing evidence in a family court dispute involving rock star Liam Gallagher and his ex-wife Nicole Appleton.

Judge Martin O'Dwyer is analysing the case at a private hearing in the Central Family Court in London.

Gallagher, 42, who was a member of the band Oasis, and Appleton, 40, a singer with the group All Saints, made no comment when they arrived and left court today.

Another, more senior, judge has placed limits on what can be reported about the litigation.

On Tuesday Mr Justice Mostyn analysed reporting issues at a hearing in the Family Division of the High Court in London.

The judge said, for the moment, the public could be told that the pair were involved in a dispute over money but little more.

He is due to make a ruling on what other detail can be disclosed following another High Court hearing in the near future.

Another judge had drawn the couple's six-year marriage to a close more than a year ago.

District Judge Anne Aitken granted the couple a decree nisi at a family court hearing in London in April 2014.
