One British businessman may have hit the jackpot with his latest invention... he's bottling fresh air and selling it for £80 a bottle!

Leo de Watts who came up with the idea advertises the air as being 'organically filtered', fresh from the British countryside.

According to their website the company, called Aethaer, 'provides clean, fresh and pure natural air in bottled form'.

It also states: 'The process involves travelling to some of the most beautiful, pristine areas of countryside, far away from industrial pollutants, motorways, and impurities, in search of the most immaculate quality of air.'

But that's not even the most bizarre part, the company have managed to shift 180 jars of the 'fresh air' in a few short weeks.

Some people are buying it for its novelty value, but there are some wealthy residents in China who are buying the jars for real purposes, thanks to the heavy pollution in places like Shanghai and Beijing.

According to the website you can even find out which part of the UK your air came from as each jar is labelled with its origin and the jars even come with a 'label of authenticity' as well.

Those who fancy trying out the air from a different part of the UK can order a jar online and even select where it comes from, with a choice between Dorset, Somerset, Wales, Wiltshire and Yorkshire.
