'Credit snub' for small businesses

Banks are turning down more than four out of 10 applications for credit from small businesses, according to a new survey.

Confidence levels among entrepreneurs has also plummeted by 5.8 points in the last quarter, a Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) study found.
