'Oldest gay' in Brighton receives Home Office apology

A 93-year-old man, nicknamed 'the oldest gay in the village', has received an apology letter from the Home Office after being convicted of gross indecency with a man in 1974.

George Montague has been fighting for the apology for 43 years, and admits it is "the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me in my life".
