Are you wearing your perfume all wrong?

We're all used to applying perfume on our wrists and neck, but apparently, you should
also be targeting your belly button during your morning routine.

So says Steven Claisse, senior perfumer at Takasago, who told Self magazine your belly button is good for more than just a piercing.

Dabbing a few drops of your favorite fragrance on it can help the smell stay with you throughout the day.

Perfume is applied to pulse points, such as neck and wrists, because these parts of our body radiate heat, enhancing the scent and making the fragrance stay longer.

Other pulse points you are probably not spraying are behind your knees and inside your elbows.
