Taste of London food festival
Now in its seventh year, The Taste Festival has turned into an annual celebration of all that's good about food. The London part of the festival, which is produced in conjunction with Channel 4 and in partnership with British Airways, takes place from the 17th to the 20th of June and will enable visitors to sample some of the finest cooking in the country over four inspiring days in June at Regent's Park. It's your chance to indulge yourself with specially prepared dishes from the finest restaurants and chefs in the city. With a 150 food and drink producers on show you are sure to find a gastronomic delight to please.

There will be demonstrations, classes and music to entertain throughout the festival. You can also take advantage of the fantastic produce on offer from a variety of food markets. They will showcase home-grown fayre as well as exotic tastes from across the globe. If you prefer liquid refreshment then take advantage of the wine tasting sessions or perhaps you would like a sommelier to help you choose that perfect tipple.
If you enjoy Malaysian cuisine then you will be in for a culinary treat as Taste of Malaysia comes to the 2010 festival. Be prepared to take a journey through the fantastic foods of Malaysia with demonstrations, performances and highlight dishes from top Malaysian restaurants. Rick Stein is the official ambassador for the show and will be on hand to provide expert knowledge of Asian cuisine.
Famous TV chefs will be making an appearance along with cooks from some of the best restaurants the capital has to offer. You can expect to see Michel Roux Jr, Vivek Singh, Gary Rhodes, Tristan Welch, Richard Corrigan, Anna Hansen and Theo Randall. Amongst the restaurants that will be represented are Asia de Cuba, Tamarind, The Cinnamon Club, Fino, Club Gascon, Gaucho, Maze, Odette's, Tom's Kitchen, Satay House, Bentleys Oyster bar and Grill, Min Jiang and The Modern Pantry.
