The sixth race of the Grand Prix takes place this Sunday at the exotic location of Monte Carlo in the principality of Monaco. This particular circuit is the most famous of all and is considered the 'jewel of the Formula 1 crown' on account of the glamour, opulence and excitement of the location. Monaco has a great number of foreign millionaires and billionaires residing there in the lap of luxury because of the tax breaks the country allows them. If you are lucky enough to go there for the Grand Prix, not only will you see Formula 1 drivers and their fantastic cars, but also you will see huge, expensive yachts, luxurious hotels full of the rich and famous and, of course, the famous Monte Carlo casinos.

The race takes place through the streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine. The track consists of narrow streets lined with crash barriers; it has a limited view, tight corners and requires a great amount of skill from the drivers, so to win it is very prestigious. Veteran driver Ayrton Senna won the Monaco Grand Prix an impressive six times - five of those in consecutive years.

Last year, Lewis Hamilton's win at Monaco bumped him up from third to first place in the standings. This year, he is currently joint seventh place, with Jenson Button steaming ahead in first place with 41 points. Will Hamilton be able to repeat his success of last year? What do you think? Leave a comment and let us know.
