Flaming van rolls down hill as police arrive on the scene

A flaming van rolled down a steep driveway, and then down a hill in Fayetteville, Arkansas, just as police officers arrived to respond to the blaze.

Dashcam footage provided by the Fayetteville Police Department shows the fiery vehicle rolling down a driveway on Jimmie Avenue as an officer yells “Hey, watch out!" to a bystander standing on the roadway below.

Police also released body-worn camera footage from an officer who rushed out of his vehicle before firefighters arrived and used a fire extinguisher on flaming grass and debris left behind in the driveway.

A police incident report indicates that the fire may been caused by the van overheating.

Emergency crews put out the fire and nobody was injured, reports said.
