Great British Bake Off runner-up Andrew Smyth has revealed a new ambition - bringing science and engineering to TV.
The Bake Off star, 25, said he had reduced his aerospace engineering job to four days a week to give him one day for baking.
"I'm down to four days a week so I've got a day for Bake Off things," he told ITV show Lorraine.
And while he wants to do more baking, he said: "Ultimately I'd love to get into science and engineering TV."
Andrew served up a savoury tarte tatin with roasted butternut squash and caramelised red onion to TV host Lorraine.
