Miranda Kerr has revealed she went through a "really bad depression" following her split from Orlando Bloom.
The Australian supermodel and the British actor broke up in 2013, after three years of marriage.
And Miranda has now opened up in an interview with Elle Canada, admitting she went through a hard time.
She said: "When Orlando and I separated, I actually fell into a really bad depression.
"I never understood the depth of that feeling or the reality of that because I was naturally a very happy person."
Miranda, 33 - who has five-year-old son Flynn with Orlando - coped by learning that "every thought you have affects your reality and only you have control of your mind".
She said she is also very thankful for the blessings in her life.
She told the magazine: "When I wake up and when I go to bed, I have that attitude of gratitude and I say, 'Thank you for this beautiful day, for this roof over my head, for the fact that I have my health and my son has his health, and thank you for our family'."
The catwalk queen has gone on to find love again, with Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel.
The pair got engaged this summer, which Miranda announced online by posting a cute picture of a cartoon couple with the man down on one knee proposing.
She captioned the shot "I said yes!!!" and added a string of hearts.
Orlando is now romantically linked to singer Katy Perry.
