Judge Rinder will fly across the ballroom during Strictly Halloween special

Updated:

Brace yourself for a true Strictly spectacular because Judge Rinder will be flying across the dancefloor for the special Halloween episode.

The TV star revealed that he and partner Oksana Platero will be flying through the air, hopefully with the greatest of ease, when they perform the paso doble to Lady Gaga's Born This Way.

In an appearance on The One Show, his professional partner told hosts Matt Baker and Alex Jones: "We're not taking a traditional approach to paso doble, we're going to be a moth and a butterfly.

"But with the choreography I still try to stay as authentic and true to the dance - so we do have paso steps, but dressed as (a moth and butterfly) so Len will be pleased.

Matt probed the pair: "Moths and butterflies don't always stay on the ground..." to which Judge Rinder replied: "That is true... Tomorrow is my first flying lesson...

"I'm hoping it's going to be more moth and high-spirited than Ann Widdecombe but there you are."

We absolutely cannot wait!
