Jack Whitehall has confessed to teasing Jamie Redknapp over his wife Louise appearing on Strictly Come Dancing, and the infamous "Strictly curse".
The comedian, who stars on sporty panel show A League Of Their Own with the former footballer, confessed all during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show - which airs on Saturday night.
He said: "I have to go down (to watch Strictly)... I have to support Louise because I've basically been winding Jamie up for the last month about 'the Strictly curse'.
"I just was winding Jamie up, he was Facetiming her every hour. He nearly punched me.
He went on to add that "Louise is a brilliant dancer and I want her to win" and that he is "Team Louise".
The "Strictly curse" is known for hitting several celebrities and their professional partners over the years on the BBC dancing show, and has been rumoured to break-up relationships as the pairs become closer while training.
Louise - who has been married to Jamie since 1998, and with whom she has two children - is partnered with Kevin Clifton on the current series of Strictly.
They're doing well in the competition as they topped the leaderboard on the second weekend of the show along with Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse.
During the taping of the Jonathan Ross Show, Strictly judge Darcey Bussell also appeared and praised Louise for her efforts on the dance floor.
She said she thinks the former Eternal singer could "go all the way" and agreed that the nature of Strictly is "very tactile" between the celebrities and their dance partners.
The Jonathan Ross Show airs on October 8 at 10pm on ITV.
