Ripper Street stars Adam Rothenberg and Lydia Wilson's love story is set to continue, this time on the stage.

The co-stars played lovers in the BBC period murder mystery series and now have been cast together again in play Fool For Love, which will open at London pop-up theatre Found111.

Playing Eddie and May in the show by Sam Shepard, they will act out heartfelt scenes in the tale about a couple who can't live with or without each other and hash out their tainted romance in a run-down motel room.

American Adam, who is making his London theatre debut, said: "I'm thrilled to have been invited to London to be a part of such a wonderful play. It's a dream part. It's going to be doubly exciting to play opposite Lydia Wilson again. We had such a great time on Ripper Street together and I look forward to getting to do this part opposite her."

Lydia said: "I'm so excited to work on this iconic play at Found111 - I remember as a teenager running around the old St Martin's School of Art building. And I'm delighted to be working again with the immensely talented Adam Rothenberg. The entire cast of Ripper Street were very close, it was a uniquely happy job with real respect and friendship amongst the cast."

Adam played Captain Homer Jackson in Ripper Street and Lydia was Mimi Morton, and the pair have recently completed filming on the final series of the hit programme.
