It's now officially autumn, which means people are freaking out over pumpkin spice

Updated:

So long summer, because today marks the first day of autumn. And for many people, that means just one thing. Falling leaves? Nope. Halloween? Nah. Roaring fires? No - what we're talking about is pumpkin spice.

Unless you've been living under a rock, it's unlikely that you've missed out on the craze that has been going from strength to strength every year. Now that it's autumn and pumpkin spice lattes are back on the menu at Starbucks, people can barely contain their excitement.

Unfortunately, this love for pumpkin spice lattes can often be a hindrance.

It can lead to a lot of pain should Starbucks ever run out.

Perhaps the most disturbing thing is how pumpkin spice is not just reserved for lattes - it's beginning to take over everything.
