Lady Gaga has revealed the name of her upcoming new album, and reckons she'll finish it this week.
The Perfect Illusion singer spoke to Zane Lowe for his Apple Music Beats 1 show and told him that her fifth studio album would be called Joanne, which we can expect to be on sale from October 21.
Explaining the name, she said it "was in tribute to my father's sister who died when she was 19´´, adding that her death from lupus "left a scar and wound that never healed".
The album also contains a track called Joanne, which is Gaga's middle name given in tribute to her late aunt.
She said: "It's the experiences of our families that makes us who we are."
Asked where she was at with the album, which she has already said contains a collaboration with Florence Welch called Hey Girl, she shared that "it's going to be done within the next 48 hours".
