Adele says Hello to AIM track of the year award

Updated:

Adele's record-breaking hit Hello has won track of the year at the Association of Independent Music (AIM) Awards.

She released the single last year while she was still signed with XL Recordings, the independent record label that helped launch her career with her first album, 19.

The sixth edition of the AIM awards also saw gongs go to artists including Little Simz, Roisin Murphy and Stormzy.
