Zayn Malik is writing a "tell-all" autobiography about the five years he spent in One Direction, according to reports.
The 23-year-old found solo success after leaving the band in March 2015, but while he has since slammed the music they made, he has kept quiet about what life was really like behind-the-scenes.
A source told the Daily Mail that a book is now in the works which will leave manager Simon Cowell horrified.
"This book is going to be explosive and Simon will be furious with Zayn and may even try to stop it coming out.
"But Zayn is determined to reveal the secrets behind the clean image that was always so fiercely protected by the band's publicity machine," they said.
Zayn found himself making headlines during his time in the band for his relationship with Perrie Edwards and allegedly cheating on her, as well as for being filmed smoking a "joint" in Peru with bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
The autobiography will reportedly cover his time with Little Mix's Perrie plus his new on-off relationship with model Gigi Hadid.
No love has been lost between the singer and Simon since he parted with his label, but he would be the first of the band to release his memoirs.
