Vicky Pattison 'smiles through the pain' after 60km charity trek across Iceland leaves her in a wheelchair

Vicky Pattison said she's "smiling through the pain" as she shared painful-looking pictures of her bruised and swollen feet after trekking nearly 60km across Iceland for charity.

The former Geordie Shore star was confined to a wheelchair as she flew home to the UK after taking on Chloe Madeley in the three-day challenge for breast cancer charity CoppaFeel!, leading two teams along the country's volcanic Landmannalaugar route.

She wrote: "Smiling through the pain... My feet officially gave up and without alcohol to numb anything I can't even walk anymore... Iceland 1, Vicky 0."

Vicky called on her followers to donate to the "incredible cause" and shared a gruesome shot of her swollen feet covered in blisters and plasters to help encourage them.

"This is what my feet look like after 60km trekking. They are broken, swollen, fat, painful & all together DESTROYED," she wrote.

Vicky aced the Bushtucker Trials on I'm A Celebrity and was determined not to let the mountains of Iceland defeat her.

She and Chloe shared cosy pictures from their tent together on the gruelling trip, which took place from August 7-11.

Both saw their social media accounts inundated with messages of congratulations from fans as they completed the challenge.

"Newcastle here I come...." Vicky wrote as she touched back down in the UK, hopefully to put her feet up.

Well done both!
