Ricky Gervais's comedy creation David Brent and his band Foregone Conclusion will bring their musical stylings to Leicester Square for the world premiere of David Brent: Life On The Road.
The film marks the big screen debut for Gervais's The Office character, who will perform with the musicians on the red carpet.
It catches up with Brent 12 years on from the BBC mockumentary to find he is now a travelling salesman for a cleaning and ladies' personal hygiene products company.
However, he has not given up on his dream of fame and fortune as a rock star and is about to embark on a self-financed UK tour with his resentful band Foregone Conclusion, who are just in it for the money.
Brent was the cringe-inducing star of The Office, the show Gervais created with Stephen Merchant.
The pair wrote and directed all 14 episodes, which ran from 2001 to 2003.
Gervais returned to the directors' chair for David Brent: Life On The Road, which he also wrote.
It will be released in UK cinemas on August 19.
