More than 70 viewers have complained to Ofcom about an incident in which Celebrity Big Brother contestant Aubrey O'Day spat in Stephen Bear's sandwich.
The former Danity Kane singer was reprimanded by Big Brother for "unacceptable behaviour" and given a formal and final warning after Stephen ate the contaminated snack.
A spokesman for watchdog Ofcom said: "We have received 79 complaints about last night's episode of Celebrity Big Brother. We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not."
Aubrey was taking part in a task which saw housemates divided into two groups, with The Artificials assigned to complete tasks for members of The Humans.
Ex On The Beach star Stephen asked Aubrey to serve him a sandwich and a cup of tea, but she secretly spat in it, an incident which sparked 74 complaints.
After finding out, Stephen was philosophical about the incident, telling Big Brother: "She spat in my tea, big deal! I'll probably put her up for nomination every single week. I've had worse in my mouth!"
Apologising, Aubrey told Stephen: "I'm sorry. It was not done in a malicious way."
Two viewers also complained about Storage Hunters star Heavy D's behaviour towards X Factor reject Chloe Khan.
Humans team member Heavy D was shown in Wednesday's episode telling Chloe to wash his dirty underpants.
A further three complaints were made about Christopher Biggins' comments about bisexuality.
Earlier this week he was shown commenting that bisexual people were "the worst" type, adding: "What it is is people not wanting to admit they're gay."
