Lauren Goodger confirms return to TOWIE as she reveals why she ditched her lip fillers

Lauren Goodger confirmed she will be returning to The Only Way Is Essex next series, as she showed off her new natural beauty on Loose Women.

She appeared on TOWIE from 2010-2012 but took a long break from Brentwood before a pop-up appearance in last year's Christmas special.

Lauren Goodger will be returning to TOWIE, where her storylines revolved around her relationship with Mark Wright (Yui Mok/PA)

But she told the panel: "I was meant to be in this series but couldn't because of personal reasons. I am doing the next series, yes."

Asked if it will be permanent, she said she'll "see how it goes", but said viewers will be able to see the real Lauren next series now that she isn't caught up in relationship drama.

Lauren's six series on the show revolved around her on-off relationship with Mark Wright, now married to Michelle Keegan.

She emphasised there's no jealousy at all with Michelle, saying: "I have moved on, he has moved in, he's happy, I'm me now there is no hate."

Speaking on the show about her decision to remove her lip fillers, she said she was offered the fillers off the back of the show and "went with the flow".

Lauren explained that friends soon told her she didn't need them but she had "got used to a different look" until a doctor offered to try removing them.

"He said, 'OK, why don't you let me take them out and if you don't like them I'll put them back in again? So I took them out and I've never been back and I left it," she said.

Lauren said her sister, who is 19, is now considering lip fillers herself, much to her dismay, but she'll still accompany her to get it done.

She said: "With my daughters, when I have kids, I will guide them through it. I wouldn't not let them but I will do it in the right way, that you don't need it.

"Look how I've come through five years later and I don't want to have it now."

Removing her 34E breast implants will not be happening any time soon, however.

She said: " In Essex, everyone gets their boobs done, that's just how it is.

"When I'm old and have children, I might do, but right now I'm happy with how I am.

"I'm a curvy girl, I've got boobs."
