Fancy owning a pair of Victoria's jeans? Check out the A-list denims up for auction to help refugees

A fashion designer is offering fans the chance to own jeans from the personal wardrobes of A-list celebrities such as Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, Ryan Gosling and Emma Watson.

One hundred pairs of celebrity denims have been given an eye-catching makeover by designer and artist Johny Dar and will be auctioned for his Jeans For Refugees project, which raises money for the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

Emma Watson's skinny jeans

The first 15 pairs - donated by Sharon Stone, Pink, Elle Macpherson, Lily Allen, Eva Longoria, Heather Graham, Joan Smalls, Alicia Vikander, Sofia Coppola, Rachel McAdams, Zoe Saldana, Tal, Jessica Hart, plus Watson and Moss - open for bidding on online auction site Catawiki on Friday.

More trousers that have graced the legs of stars from Sir Elton John to Claudia Schiffer will be released for sale over the next 100 days, giving fans the chance to add a unique piece of celebrity memorabilia to their wardrobe.

Kate Moss's grey jeans

Johny said: "The refugee crisis has had an impact on everyone - it moves us all, it concerns us all.

Eva Longoria's white jeans

"The concept behind Jeans For Refugees is to spread a message through art, to create positive change and empower people to collaborate for a common goal, painting a new paradigm and inspiring a brighter world."

Model Elle Macpherson's bell-bottoms jeans

If the skinny jeans or their price tags prove too much of a stretch, the lots will be viewable at a week-long exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

Rachel McAdams's jeans

In addition, Johny will be painting a number of jeans in a non-stop live art performance over 10 days at a refugee camp to highlight the endurance and determination of the refugees as they make their journey to safety.
